Putin congratulates composer Alexandra Pakhmutova on her birthday
On November 9, Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated People's Artist of the USSR, composer Alexandra Pakhmutova on her birthday.
In response, the composer thanked the President of the Russian Federation and wished him health, joy and happiness.
The People's Artist of the USSR celebrated her 96th birthday with a concert on the stage of the State Kremlin Palace.

Alexandra Pakhmutova is a Soviet and Russian composer, pianist, songwriter and public figure. She is the author of more than 400 compositions. In 1984, Pakhmutova was awarded the title of People's Artist of the USSR, and in 1990 she was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor. On his 90th birthday, the composer was awarded the Order of St. Andrew the First-Called.
