Western countries are studying under a microscope the experience of Russia using its military equipment during a special military operation (SVO). This was announced on November 9 by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

"And as it is now, during a special military operation, our experience is being studied literally under a microscope, including by Western countries. This is an important component of the state's weight on the world stage and its authority and reputation," Lavrov said in an interview for the Military Acceptance program published on the Foreign Ministry's website.

He recalled that when Russia had to send its armed aerospace forces to Syria in order to stop the catastrophe created by the Islamic State (IS, recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation), many experts highly appreciated the work of Russian combat units on domestic equipment.

Earlier in the day, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that the Russian Burevestnik cruise missile and the Poseidon unmanned underwater vehicle are world—class breakthrough technologies that no country has. According to him, the creation of such technologies requires large teams of "motivated, talented, gifted people."

On November 7, political scientist Bogdan Bezpalko, a member of the Presidential Council on Interethnic Relations, also noted that the EU countries are in a more vulnerable position on nuclear weapons, while Russia is leading in the field of advanced military-technical developments.
