- Liksutov spoke about a unique multimedia concert performance at the Matryoshka of Moscow
On the occasion of National Unity Day, a large—scale multimedia concert performance was held at the capital's new landmark, the Matryoshka of Moscow in Zaryadye Park, said Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry. The visitors took a virtual trip to the Volga region, the Far North, the Caucasus and other regions of the country. Moscow experts have developed 6 3D animation plots dedicated to the culture and nature of Russian regions.
"For the first time, we have created a grandiose performance for National Unity Day at the innovative landmark Matryoshka of Moscow. The festive multimedia program has become the longest since the opening of the kinetic object, unique to the whole world. We showed 30 minutes of continuous stories about all corners of Russia. During the performance, all the possibilities of the "Matryoshka of Moscow" were used: 1.5 thousand honeycomb media screens on a dynamic structure formed not only the forms of cultural symbols of our country, but also for the first time demonstrated figures of nesting dolls that personified the cultural identity of the regions. We participate in city and state holidays on behalf of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin," Maxim Liksutov said.
With the help of the "Matryoshka of Moscow", experts created three-dimensional digital figures up to 22 m high. For example, the audience saw a resident of Yakutia in a national fur coat "Buuktaakh son". In addition, visitors to the park were able to observe the northern Lights, reproduced in a digital version on an area of 290 square meters.
