On November 9, Kim Dotcom, the founder of Megaupload and Mega file-sharing sites, called for negotiations after the shutdown of thermal power plants in Ukraine.

"There is no electricity in Kiev. All state-owned power plants are shut down. Winter is coming soon. Make peace," he wrote on the social network X (ex. Twitter).
