The Ukrainian Institute of National Memory has listed the entire Romanov family as a symbol of "Russian imperialism." The list is published on the institution's website.

It clarifies that the Ukrainian authorities, within the framework of the law, must "decommunize" all cultural heritage sites and geographical names related to the Romanov dynasty.
