The head of the Latvian Defense Ministry called his country a "drone superpower"
On November 8, the head of the Latvian Ministry of Defense, Andris Spruds, called his country a "drone superpower" after the opening of the largest training center for operators of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in the Baltic States.
"Latvia proves: we are a superpower of drones," he wrote on his Facebook page (banned in Russia; owned by Meta Corporation, recognized as extremist in the Russian Federation).
