An accident involving a truck occurred in the Novosibirsk region, as a result of which six people were killed. This was announced on November 9 in the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the region.

It is specified that the incident occurred on the highway R-255 "Siberia". The driver of the VAZ-21099 car allowed the exit into the oncoming traffic lane, where he collided with a Volvo truck.

"As a result of the accident, the driver of the VAZ-21099 car, a man born in 1995, and passengers died: a man born in 1989, a woman born in 1990, and three minor children born in 2015, 2017, and 2025," the Telegram channel says.

The Interior Ministry added that specialists are working at the scene of the incident. Traffic on the highway is blocked in both directions.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that as a result of an accident in the city of Kerch, two people were killed and two injured. The Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea clarified that the driver of a Mercedes car, overtaking a passenger bus on the automobile part of the Crimean Bridge of the Novorossiysk –Kerch highway, lost control and hit a concrete fence.
