A man caught in an avalanche was found in Kamchatka

A man who was caught in an avalanche on the territory of the Aginsky gold deposit in Kamchatka was found. This was reported on November 9 in the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Kamchatka Territory.

"According to preliminary information, he is alive. Currently, work is underway to evacuate him," the Telegram channel says.

It is specified that rescuers and a doctor are preparing to leave for the scene of the incident.

Earlier, on November 8, the press service of the investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Kamchatka Territory reported that the operator of the drilling rig died in an avalanche on the territory of the golden Aginsky deposit. According to the prosecutor's office of the region, the avalanche carried the drilling rig with the men to a distance of about 70 m. Emergency services arrived at the scene and removed the body of the deceased from the rubble.
