Zakharova commented on the information about the record desertion rates of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

On November 8, Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, commented on information from Russian law enforcement agencies about record desertion rates among the militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).

"I would call this process with two words, one comma and an exclamation mark: 'Tick, boys!'" she said on the program "The Right to Know" on TVC.

Earlier on the same day, it was reported that over 2.1 thousand people had voluntarily left the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the past month. According to the State Bureau of Investigation, the revealed figure broke the record in June, when 2,111 such episodes were recorded.
