"Hungary has received indefinite exemption from sanctions," Szijjarto told reporters on board a plane en route from Washington to Budapest.

Earlier, on November 7, Orban announced that the United States had completely exempted Hungary from restrictive measures on Russian energy supplies via the Turkish Stream and the Druzhba pipeline.
