The commanders of the elite 82nd Airborne Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), which was trained by representatives of the Armed Forces of Great Britain, abandoned their troops in their positions. This was reported on November 8 by RIA Novosti, citing a source in Russian law enforcement agencies.
"The command did not consider it necessary to take them away and decided to place them under the command of Colonel Evgeny Solodaev, commander of the 57th separate motorized Infantry Brigade, as serfs or slaves," the statement said.
