Former Top Gear presenter Quentin Wilson has died at the age of 69.

The former host of the British TV show Top Gear, Quentin Wilson, has died at the age of 68. This was reported on November 8 by Sky News TV channel with reference to his family.

It is noted that the cause of death of the presenter was lung cancer.

Wilson was born in Leicester. In 1991, he began working for the BBC television channel as a co-host of the Top Gear program with Jeremy Clarkson. Until 2001, he appeared on the show as an expert on used cars. After leaving the BBC, Wilson moved to Channel 5, where he hosted Fifth Gear.
