Applications for the Children in Runet Award are already open and will last until November 20.
The award is aimed at supporting initiatives and projects aimed at creating a safe childhood online, developing digital literacy and raising public awareness of the importance of protecting children online.
"It is important for us that projects that create a safe space for children on the Internet receive well—deserved recognition," said Elizaveta Belyakova, Chairman of the Alliance for the Protection of Children in the Digital Environment.
The following thematic nominations were selected as part of the award: "Online Security Lessons" are for educators and educational organizations, "Digital Family Security" is for projects created by several family members, and "The Future of the Internet" is for teenagers aged 14-18.
The best works will be determined by an expert jury, which will include representatives of RAEC, Yandex, VK, Rostelecom, ANO Digital Economy, Kaspersky Lab and others.
