- Trukhachev pointed to the desire of Polish residents to send Ukrainian refugees to the front
Many Polish residents want to send Ukrainian refugees to the front because of the increase in crime on the part of Ukrainian citizens and their expensive maintenance for the population of Polish territory. This was announced on November 8 by Vadim Trukhachev, Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Regional Studies at RSUH.
"People don't understand why they should support refugees if they don't have enough money themselves. In addition, many Ukrainians have become part of the criminal world," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
As Trukhachev pointed out, against this background, Poles are wondering why they should support refugees rather than send them to a war zone.
According to Trukhachev, despite the negative attitude towards Russia, not all Poles love Ukrainians. At the same time, many of the Polish population work abroad, for example, in Germany, France, England and Belgium due to lack of funds for their own living. Also, the curve of minor domestic crimes, rape and prostitution has gone up since the emigration of Ukrainian refugees to the country.
On November 4, it was reported that the number of attacks on Ukrainians has increased dramatically in Poland, where they currently live from 1.5 to 2 million people. In the period from January 1 to July 31 of this year alone, 543 such crimes were recorded.
Polish politician Grzegorz Placek also said on October 31 that the Polish authorities were actually forcing citizens to pay interest on Ukraine's debts. The politician was outraged by the fact that the country continues to finance Kiev, despite the budget deficit and the growth of public debt.
