Roman Novak, a crypto fraudster from St. Petersburg, who was abducted and killed in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), was listed as a debtor in Russia in the amount of over 6.4 million rubles. This was reported to TASS on November 8 by law enforcement agencies.

"Novak's debts exceed 6.4 million rubles, some of them are being forcibly recovered, mainly for damage caused by a crime," the source told the agency.

It is specified that part of the debt is being collected on a compulsory basis.

As follows from the court materials, nine enforcement proceedings were opened against Novak. Several of them were subsequently terminated on the basis of Articles 46, part 1, paragraphs 3 and 4 of the Law "On Enforcement Proceedings".
