Members of the British Armed Forces (AF) who took part in the trials of the Ajax armored vehicle have been contacting medical institutions for several years with complaints of noise and vibrations in their ears, and in the summer of 2025, some of them had to go to the hospital. This was reported on November 7 by Sky News TV channel, citing sources.

"The Ministry of Defense (of Britain — Ed.) has confirmed that a "small number" of military personnel reported problems with noise and vibration after testing three variants of the 40-ton tracked vehicle," the material says.

It also clarifies that the department conducted an investigation, but did not find any flaws in the military equipment being tested, and the words of the Minister of Defense Procurement, Luke Pollard, are quoted, who claimed that if the car had been dangerous, it would not have been allowed to be tested. At the same time, sources familiar with the situation said that soldiers working for several hours in the Ajax cabin continue to receive damage.

"An internal review published in 2021 showed that senior military personnel and officials of the Ministry of Defense had known for two years that earlier malfunctions of the Ajax machine put troops at risk of harm," the text says.
