Envoy Trutnev spoke about coming under fire in the DPR and repelling an attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces

On November 7, Deputy Prime Minister and Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy for the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev told how, during one of his trips to the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), he came under fire from the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) and was forced to shoot back with a sniper rifle.

"I worked from this house [with a sniper rifle], under a charcoal burner. There's almost nothing left of the house. We were shelled there more than once or twice," he said in an interview with Semyon Pegov, a military correspondent and author of the WarGonzo project, published on the Rutube channel.
