Named the best restaurants in Moscow in 2025
On Friday, November 7, a solemn ceremony of awarding the best restaurants in Moscow in 2025 according to the version of the international restaurant award WhereToEat took place in the capital. Winners in a number of special nominations were also awarded. This is reported by the correspondent of Izvestia.
The results of the award are traditionally based on the estimates of several hundred leading experts in Moscow from among restaurateurs, hoteliers, chefs, sommeliers, and gastronomic journalists. The nominees are determined by secret ballot.
Olluco has become the best restaurant in Moscow. In second place is the restaurant "Behind the roof". Sage was awarded the third place, and it was also awarded in the special Media Choice category. The top ten projects of the capital also included Savva, Maya, Carniceria Vino, Grand Cru, Bruno, Onest and Padron.
The winners in special nominations were also awarded. Nicanor Vieira (Olluco) was awarded the prestigious title of "Chef of the Year", Arina Zhuravleva (Urban Winery) was awarded the title of "Female Chef of the Year". Fatima Saleh (Sartoria Lamberti, Dachniki) became the pastry chef of the year, Maria Syukrina (Oltremare) was recognized as the best sommelier for the second year in a row, and Kirill Komissarov (Padron) became the waiter of the year. Anchovy's Club restaurant was awarded for the best beer list. Silencio was named "Bar of the Year".
WhereToEat is an international restaurant award established in 2013. Then, on the initiative of a group of gastronomic journalists, a rating of the best restaurants in St. Petersburg was compiled. Currently, in addition to St. Petersburg, restaurants in Moscow, southern Russia, the Central Region, Tatarstan, the Ural Federal District, Perm Krai, Siberia and the Far East, as well as in Belarus and Kazakhstan, are competing for the title of the best.22:06
