The moment of the helicopter crash in Dagestan was captured on video

On November 7, Izvestia received a video clip of the helicopter crash in Dagestan, which killed four people.

The incident occurred on the afternoon of November 7th. It was clarified that the KA-226 aircraft of Concern KEMZ JSC crashed at 15:10 (Moscow time) near the village of Achi-Su.

Rosaviatsia recommended that pilots be retrained in flying according to the international system for determining the distance to the ground

A criminal case has been opened under Part 3 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of the rules of traffic safety and operation of air transport, which negligently resulted in the death of two or more persons").

The operational services involved in the investigation admitted that the cause of the crash could be a technical malfunction. Later, the emergency services clarified that the helicopter crash was caused by an engine fire in flight. The Federal Air Transport Agency classifies the incident as a disaster.
