On September 14, researchers at Sechenov University spoke about a new method for diagnosing atopic dermatitis. Anna Bratkovskaya, an assistant at the V.A. Rakhmanov Department of Skin and Venereal Diseases at Sechenov University, said that doctors used an innovative technique called "tape stripping", in which cellular material of the stratum corneum is obtained from the skin surface using a special tape that is glued for 10 seconds and removed in layers.
