The Russian government has expanded the list of auto parts for labeling

The Government of the Russian Federation has expanded the list of products in the experiment on labeling auto parts in the state system "Honest sign", the decree has already been prepared and signed. This was reported by TASS on November 7.

Manufacturers, importers, and sellers of spark plugs for buses, wheels, and rims, as well as brake pads and discs, will be able to participate in the experiment. Prior to this, the marking applied to oil filters, spark plugs, windshields and other windows.

In August, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation proposed to expand the list of automotive components with these positions. The changes are due to the need to increase the effectiveness of control over the turnover of a wider list of vehicle components, the department noted.

The auto parts labeling experiment began on February 25, 2025 and will last until February 28, 2026. It is necessary to form a general model and labeling procedure, as well as to develop optimal technologies for applying codes to goods. The experiment is voluntary — the equipment and labeling codes for the period of testing are provided by Operator-CRPT LLC free of charge.

Earlier, on September 9, Dmitry Denshov, director of the Reikanen service station, told Izvestia that about 50% of service stations refuse to work with other people's spare parts if they raise doubts about the quality. About 20% of service stations on the market declare complete abandonment of other people's spare parts.
