Moskvich has started accepting orders for Liftback 6 with new options

Moskvich Automobile Plant has started accepting orders for Moskvich 6 liftbacks for the 2026 model year in two trim levels at a price of 3.19 million and 3.32 million rubles, respectively. This was reported on November 7 by the Chinese Cars portal.

With the change of the model year, versions with a CVT and a 1.5-liter turbo engine with a capacity of 136 hp dropped out of the range of modifications of the Moskvich 6. Now the liftback is equipped with only a 1.5-liter turbocharged unit with a capacity of 174 hp (a similar engine is installed on the Moskvich 8) and a 6-speed "robot" with two clutches. Acceleration from zero to 100 km/h takes 7.8 seconds, and the maximum speed is limited to 170 km/h.

It is noted that in similar trim levels and with such transmissions, cars manufactured in 2023 cost 2.49 million and 2.63 million rubles, and in 2024 - 2.98 million and 3.12 million rubles, respectively.

Now the Moskvich 6 is equipped only with electric front seat adjustments and climate control (no mechanical adjustments or air conditioning are provided). The dashboard is exclusively virtual, there is an all-round viewing system. Also in the 2026 version, the liftback is equipped with safety shutters (previously they were not in every version) and wireless charging for smartphones, which the model did not have before. There are no changes in the exterior or interior design.

The Moskvich press service noted that product changes are also being prepared for various modifications of the Moskvich 3. As for the Moskvich 8, which started selling in July, it is expected to be updated next year.

The day before, it was reported that in August – October 2025, the demand for used cars of the revived Moskvich brand increased by 29.1% compared to the beginning of the year. It turned out that there are more such machines on the secondary market, and the demand for them is growing significantly.

On October 30, it became known that the Moskvich automobile plant had not abandoned the production of a compact crossover with the index 5. According to the company's press service, the vehicles continue to undergo a test period of operation in the corporate fleet.
