The State Duma proposed to limit the share of its own brands in retail chains

The deputies of the Fair Russia faction, led by Sergey Mironov, proposed limiting the share of their own brands (STM) in retail chains. The relevant bill was submitted to the State Duma on November 6.

The initiative involves amendments to the law "On the Fundamentals of State Regulation of trading activities." According to the draft, the share of STM products in the range of retailers will not exceed 25%. If the initiative is adopted, the updated law will enter into force on September 1, 2026.
