Chinese President Xi Jinping took part in the ceremony of commissioning the third aircraft carrier of the Chinese Navy Fujian. This was reported on October 7 by China Central Television (CCTV).

"The commissioning ceremony of the country's first aircraft carrier Fujian, equipped with an electromagnetic catapult, took place on November 5 [November] at the naval port of Sanya on Hainan Island," the material says.

During the ceremony, Xi Jinping boarded the aircraft carrier to inspect it, CCTV said.

On September 3, a military parade was held in China to mark the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II and the victory over militaristic Japan in Beijing. The parade was the largest in the country's history. During the event, the latest developments of the Chinese military-industrial complex (MIC), including nuclear weapons, were presented.

The spectacular part of the event was the departure to Tiananmen Square of more than 500 pieces of equipment, of which almost half are new. They also presented the latest electronic warfare (EW) systems and unmanned aerial vehicles, huge underwater drones weighing 500 kg and other types of weapons.
