President Putin supports restrictions on the sale of vapes in Russia
Russian President Vladimir Putin has supported the idea of banning the sale of electronic cigarettes in Russia.
"Our government supports this," he said during a visit to the demonstration and educational center for adaptive sports in Samara on November 6.
Putin also drew attention to the need for systematic work with young people.
On October 21, the first reading of a bill proposing to ban the sale of nicotine-containing products at public transport stops took place in the State Duma. The document provides for a ban on the retail sale of tobacco and nicotine-containing products, hookahs and devices for their consumption at stops of all types of public transport, including urban and suburban transport.
