A child died as a result of a fire in a private house in the Novosibirsk region.

A private house caught fire in the Novosibirsk region, resulting in the death of a minor girl. This was announced on November 7 by the regional prosecutor's office.

"In the village of Ulybino, Iskitimsky district, Novosibirsk region, a private house caught fire in the morning. A young girl born in 2013 died as a result of the fire," the Telegram channel says.

It is specified that a criminal case was opened on the fact of the incident under Part 1 of Article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Causing death by negligence"). The prosecutor's office added that the progress and results of the investigation are under control.

Earlier, on October 6, the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Yakutia reported that three people were killed and one injured as a result of a house fire in Yakutsk. According to the published information, the fire occurred in a two-story apartment building on Khalturina Street.
