Nebenzia discussed with Ulotz a draft resolution on international forces in Gaza

Russia's permanent Representative to the United Nations, Vasily Nebenzya, said on November 7 that he had held a meeting with his American counterpart, Michael Waltz, during which they discussed a US draft resolution on the creation of international security forces in the Gaza Strip.

"Yes, we met with Michael Waltz, he came to me on a courtesy call, we discussed our cooperation at the UN, we just talked for a living <...>. We were just discussing their original project," Nebenzia said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

The diplomat clarified that the discussion concerned the American initiative to form an international force in Gaza, which is being promoted at the level of the UN Security Council. According to Nebenzi, there are "many issues" in the submitted draft resolution that require further elaboration. He added that the dialogue with the American side on this issue will continue.
