Military personnel of the Zala reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) unit of the 39th Separate Guards Motorized Rifle Red Banner Brigade of the 68th Guards Army Corps as part of the Center group of forces spoke about their combat work in the Red Army Special Operations Area (SVO). Footage of their work is published on November 7 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
"The calculation is engaged in identifying enemy forces, such as guns, manpower. After we identify the enemy, we transfer it to higher management," said the head of the calculation with the call sign Owl.
Zala operators monitor the situation on the line of contact around the clock, immediately transmitting information about identified military installations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). After the command receives information about the enemy's targets, it decides on their further defeat with Lancet barrage ammunition and calculations of artillery units.
In addition, a soldier with the call sign Forik stated that there is nothing complicated in the work. According to him, the main thing is to take this seriously.
On November 6, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that in the Dnipropetrovsk region, crews of T-80BVM tanks of the Vostok group of forces destroyed the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Crews of T-80BVM tanks, equipped with protective lattice screens, advanced to pre-prepared lines and opened fire with high-explosive 125-millimeter shells at the main shelters, entrances to dugouts and identified firing points of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
