A detachment of the Zapad group has completed the cleanup of a feed mill in Kupyansk

Soldiers of the 1486th motorized rifle regiment of the Zapad group liberated seven buildings and completed the cleaning of the feed mill in Kupyansk. This was announced on November 6 by the commander of the assault squad with the call sign Lovets.

"We have liberated seven buildings, completed the cleaning of the territory of the feed mill. We continue to move forward, there are less than 50 buildings left to be vacated in my area," the commander said.

The commander said that two enemy groups with a total of eight militants were destroyed during the operation. The fighters continue to carry out the task of liberating the eastern part of Kupyansk, despite attempts by the enemy to resist.

On November 6, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that Russian troops in the Kharkiv region near the city of Kupyansk had prevented an attempt by a brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) to break out of the encirclement. Three attacks by units of the 144th mechanized, 92nd assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the 15th National Guard brigade were also repelled in the areas of Nechvolodovka and Blagodatovka.
