More than 400 orphan GTS were examined in Stavropol

In the Stavropol Territory, an inspection of all hydraulic structures without supervision and maintenance, scheduled for 2025, has been completed. This is reported by the press service of the regional Ministry of Natural Resources.

The inspection was carried out by employees of the department. Experts examined 438 objects in 19 districts, writes StavropolMedia. According to the results of the survey, their technical condition and readiness for flood water passage were determined.

For safety reasons, unattended structures will be transferred to the balance of municipalities or water users. Finding such facilities without control increases the risk of destruction of the GTS, can lead to landslides, landslides and flooding.

Already, the regional Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment has begun to form a list of districts for 2026 for further surveys. The work is carried out within the framework of the federal law on the safety of hydraulic structures.

Earlier it was reported that a record 12.7 billion rubles will be allocated for the development of public utilities in Stavropol. This amount is provided for in the draft regional budget for 2026.
