On November 6, the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation held a round table on "Women's Diplomacy" in Moscow, during which the growing influence of women in the diplomatic and business spheres was discussed.

"Women are given a deeper sense of context, they are able to read the notes and find a balance between a rational position and a human approach," said Natalia Kuzmina, Vice—rector of MGIMO.

The event discussed issues of women's economic involvement in public administration, business development in socially significant areas and in high technologies. Kuzmina emphasized the importance of emotional intelligence in diplomacy, noting that female diplomats often demonstrate higher performance due to their flexible approach and "soft power." They most often work in humanitarian fields such as culture, education, and public assistance.

In September of this year, State Duma deputies from the Fair Russia – For Truth faction took the initiative to reduce the working day of pregnant women to six hours without cutting their earnings. The proposed initiative is aimed at alleviating the physical and emotional state of pregnant women, which often worsens due to fears of losing income or work.
