Landscaping of the embankment resumed in Yelets in the Lipetsk region

In Yelets, Lipetsk region, a new contractor resumed the landscaping of the embankment on the right bank of the Bystrica Sosna River. The head of the city Vyacheslav Zhabin announced this in his Telegram channel.

"We hope that the involvement of a new contractor will allow us to complete the project efficiently. <...> We will closely monitor the progress of the work and regularly inspect the facility to ensure that all requirements and quality standards are met," Zhabin said.

According to GOROD48, the contract with the previous contractor, Aquaservice LLC, was terminated in August 2025 due to schedule delays. The company managed to complete works for 11.67 million rubles with a total contract value of 187.68 million rubles.

The new contractor was appointed in September. Now it is Gaztech-Kit LLC, which has agreed to take over the facility for 154.86 million rubles with an initial contract value of 178 million rubles.

It is planned to complete the beautification of the embankment by July 2026. To date, earthworks, asphalt laying, and the installation of a side stone have been carried out on the territory. Negotiations are underway on the supply of equipment and materials for recreation areas.
