Witkoff reported on the length of his meetings with Putin
On November 6, US President Donald Trump's Special Envoy Steve Witkoff announced that he had held six meetings with Russian President Vladimir Putin, each of which lasted more than four hours.
"I met with him (Putin. — Ed.) six times. I don't remember that the meeting lasted less than four hours," he said during his speech at the America Business Forum, which is being held in Miami.
Witkoff said that some of the talks with the Russian leader lasted up to five hours.
Earlier in the day, Witkoff said that in order to resolve the Ukrainian crisis, it is necessary to carry out a lot of technical work and agree on "security protocols" for Kiev. He also noted that the American leader is constantly interested in the topic of the Ukrainian settlement, and there is "some progress" in the process of resolving the issue.
