About 12.7 billion rubles will be allocated for the development of public utilities in the Stavropol Territory. This amount is provided for in the draft regional budget for 2026, said Governor Vladimir Vladimirov.

"This is a record amount for Stavropol. It was formed with the support of the federal center. We will continue to work on this, because the state of the housing and communal services sector is one of the key indicators of the quality of life of fellow countrymen," the head of the region wrote on social networks.

The bulk of the funds will be used for the renovation and construction of water supply and sanitation facilities in 11 municipalities. Among the key projects are sewage treatment plants in the Stavropol industrial zone, new facilities at the Sengileevsky water intake and a water pipeline in the Foothill district.

At the same time, the development of design estimates for 11 water supply and sanitation facilities in 10 districts will begin. The design of the second line of the Kislovodsk-Yessentuki-Pyatigorsk sewer system will also begin, writes IA StavropolMedia.
