The Votour brand registered in Russia named the owner of the company

A legal entity registered in Russia, Votour Motor Rus LLC, entered information about the actual owner of the company in its founding documents — it turned out to be the Chinese company Uhu Defetoo Automobile Technology. This was reported by the Auto Mail project on Thursday, November 6.

Previously, the nominee owner of the company was Chinese citizen Ou Hao, who is now listed as CEO. The Votour brand was registered in Russia by the Jetour representative office, part of the Chery concern.

At the same time, another Chinese brand, Tenet, which produces crossovers of the same name in partnership with AGR holding at the former Volkswagen plant in Kaluga, officially has a connection with Defetoo in Russia.

In the founding documents of Votur Motor Rus, the main activity is the distribution of cars. At the same time, there are no signs of potential localization of Votour in Russia in the company's reports.
