Russia will take retaliatory measures if the European Union (EU) stops issuing Schengen multivisa visas to Russians. This opinion was expressed by Vladimir Dzhabarov, First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs, on Thursday, November 6.

"The madness of the European Union is obvious. The fact is that as long as Ursula von der Leyen is at the head of the European Commission, nothing good will happen. This means that we will take retaliatory measures," the politician said in a conversation with Lenta.Ru .

The day before, the newspaper Politico reported that the European Union is going to tighten the conditions for issuing Schengen multivisa visas to Russians this week.
