- The IDF announced the launch of a series of attacks against Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has launched a series of attacks against Hezbollah's infrastructure in southern Lebanon. This was reported on November 6 in the army press service.
"The IDF attacked terrorists operating at a terrorist infrastructure facility belonging to the Hezbollah construction unit in the Tyre area of southern Lebanon," the Israeli army wrote on its Telegram channel.
It is noted that the affected facility was used by the movement to restore infrastructure, and these actions by Hezbollah representatives violate agreements between the two states.
"The IDF will continue its actions to eliminate any threat to the state of Israel," the IDF said.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on November 2 that the armed groups of the Hezbollah movement in Lebanon are trying to rearm, and the country intends to exercise the right to self-defense under the terms of the ceasefire.
The Jerusalem Post reported on October 31 that the IDF had eliminated Hezbollah officer Ibrahim Muhammad Raslan in southern Lebanon. According to the army, the officer was engaged in the restoration of Hezbollah infrastructure in this area of Lebanon.
Prior to that, on October 20, the IDF announced attacks on Hezbollah's military infrastructure in Lebanon. According to the military, Hezbollah continues to attempt to rebuild terrorist infrastructure facilities throughout Lebanon. It clarifies that such attempts are a violation of the agreements between Israel and Lebanon, and the IDF will continue strikes in order to prevent the expansion of the group's activities.
