- Siluanov announced an additional allocation of 75.5 billion rubles for the road infrastructure of the Russian Federation
As part of the budget amendments, more than 75.5 billion rubles will be additionally allocated for the repair and construction of road infrastructure. This was announced on November 6 at a government meeting by Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov.
He noted that the changes will be carried out within the framework of the national project "Infrastructure for Life".
"Additional resources will be allocated to roads, and 75.5 billion rubles are planned to be allocated to bring regional highways to a standard state," Siluanov said, addressing Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
The Finance Minister added that this would make it possible to bring 700 km of such roads to a standard state, as well as provide measures to finance the construction of 22 road facilities.
In June, Mishustin signed an order to allocate an additional 2.3 billion rubles in 2025 for the repair of highways in new regions of the Russian Federation. It was specified that the financing would be directed from the government's reserve fund. Additional funds will help to bring the roads, as well as the street and road network with a total length of 84.6 km, to a standard condition.
