The Workshop of Public Advisers held about 30 master classes for the children of ITS participants

In the Presnensky district of Moscow, free workshops are being held for children of participants in a special military operation (SVO) as part of the Workshop of Public Advisers project. This was reported by the press service of the prefecture of the Central Administrative District of Moscow.

The classes are organized with the support of the Presnensky district administration and the Association of Cultural Centers of the Central Administrative District. Children can do, in particular, gouache and watercolor painting, origami, applique, decoupage, mosaic, as well as making jewelry from beads and beads.

According to the organizers, classes are held twice a month. Each time, the children are introduced to a new kind of creativity. The most popular type of creativity turned out to be applique: children make crafts from colored paper, dried leaves and scraps of fabric. A decoupage workshop also aroused interest: participants made organizer cups with images of their favorite cartoon characters.

Some classes are timed to commemorate memorable dates. So, for Victory Day, the children prepared postcards, which they sent to the fighters in the SVO zone.

The project "Workshop of Public Advisers" was created by Alla Popova, public adviser of Presnensky district. The first master class took place in June 2024, and there have already been about three dozen of them. More than 100 children between the ages of seven and 10 became their participants.

More than 30 residents of Presnensky district have already joined the project as assistants. They organize and conduct classes every first and fourth Monday of the month in the premises of the district council.

In the future, master classes are planned to be held four times a month. It is also planned to open new creative studios in other districts of the capital on the basis of the premises of the Association of Cultural Centers of the Central Administrative District and non-profit organizations.
