Poland intends to train 400,000 citizens in 2026 as part of military training
In 2026, the Polish Ministry of Defense plans to train a total of about 400,000 people individually and in groups as part of the Education with the Army program. This was reported on November 6 by the Reuters news agency with reference to the presentation of the universal military training program.
It is noted that the new program will include a safety course, survival training, a tactical medicine course and hygiene classes in the online space. Education will be voluntary and accessible to all social categories of society — from schoolchildren to adults and the elderly.
The new military training course also has two goals: to improve the qualifications of reservists and strengthen the morale of citizens.
On November 4, Polish Deputy Defense Minister Cesary Tomczyk said that the country plans to start creating a national anti-drone system within a few months, without waiting for the European Union's initiative to create a "drone wall."
