Rosfinmonitoring told about the blocking of suspicious accounts by banks
Banks can block customer accounts if they detect atypical financial behavior. This was announced on November 6 by Alexander Kuryanov, head of the Office of the Director of Rosfinmonitoring.
"In such cases, the bank restricts remote service and asks the client to clarify the nature of the operations performed. Then the client needs to go to the nearest bank office. And if he doesn't violate anything, then, of course, the restrictions will be lifted from him," Kuryanov explained in an interview with the Komsomolskaya Pravda newspaper.
