The theft of 23 tons of oil from a well was stopped in Stavropol

Almost 23 tons of oil were almost stolen from a well on the territory of the Stavropol Oil company in the Neftekumsky district. The attackers were detained by law enforcement officers.

Two residents of Stepnovsky district tried to steal raw materials. They managed to pump the oil into a truck trailer. The total weight was 19.94 tons.

According to the Department of the Federal Security Service for the Stavropol Territory, during a search, a Gazelle car was found in the men's possession, which contained another 2.85 tons of petroleum products.

The damage caused by the actions of the violators amounted to 750 thousand rubles. A criminal case has been opened, writes StavropolMedia news agency.
