Demand for used Moskvichs has increased in Russia

In August-October 2025, the demand for used cars of the revived Moskvich brand increased by 29.1% compared to the beginning of the year. On November 6, experts from Avito Avto told Izvestia about this. It turned out that there are more such machines on the secondary market, and the demand for them is growing significantly.

The most popular models were the Moskvich 3 and Moskvich 6, with demand growing by 29.4% and 17.1%, respectively. The electric Moskvich 3e has gained the most popularity — it has become 2.5 times more popular, analysts estimate.

The average price of "Muscovites" in the secondary market decreased by 3.4%, to 1.4 million rubles. The most popular model with the index 3 has fallen in price more than others — it has become more affordable by 5.6%, the average cost is 1.35 million rubles. The Moskvich 6 is available for an average of 1.65 million rubles, while the Moskvich 3e is available for 2.05 million rubles.

Compared to August-October 2024, demand for the brand's cars increased by 35.1%, and Moskvich 6 became the leader in demand dynamics (+61.2%). The Moskvich 3e electric car is in second place (+54.1%), while the Moskvich 3 is third (+33%). The average prices for the year decreased by 14.2%.

Earlier, on October 30, it became known that the Moskvich automobile plant had not abandoned the production of a compact crossover with the index 5. According to the company's press service, the vehicles continue to undergo a test period of operation in the corporate fleet.

Prior to that, on October 15, it was reported that the Moskvich automobile plant plans to begin large-scale assembly of the new M70 model by the end of 2025, and the Chinese SAIC concern has become the new partner of the Russian automobile plant. Previously, the Chinese company JAC was a permanent project of the capital's enterprise, and crossovers with indexes 3 and 8, as well as liftback number 6, were produced on the basis of its cars.
