A criminal case has been opened in Khabarovsk due to an incident on the railway, during which a bus and a train collided. This was announced on November 6 by the press service of the Eastern Interregional Investigative Department for Transport of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

"The Investigative Department for Transport of the Eastern Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation has opened a criminal case under Part 1 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of the rules of safety and operation of railway transport, which negligently caused serious harm to health")," the Telegram channel says.

According to the investigation, today at a railway crossing in the Orekhovaya Sopka microdistrict, a diesel locomotive collided with a passenger bus that crossed the tracks in front of the rolling stock. The driver tried to slow down, but it was not possible to avoid a collision.

As a result, the driver and three passengers, including a minor, were injured. Investigators are working at the scene.

On the same day, it was reported that a car and a bus collided in Ulan-Ude, injuring three people. The driver of the foreign car and his two passengers were hospitalized in a medical facility.
