The number of attacks on Ukrainians has increased dramatically in Poland, where they currently live from 1.5 to 2 million people. This was reported by Gazeta Wyborcza newspaper, citing data from law enforcement agencies.

"Over the past two years, the number of attacks on Ukrainians motivated by xenophobia, racism or religious intolerance has increased by more than 66%," the publication says.

In the period from January 1 to July 31 of this year alone, 543 such crimes were recorded, which, as the representative of the Main Police Department noted, was 159 incidents higher than in the same period in 2024, when 384 illegal acts were committed against refugees from Ukraine.
