The decision taken by the Moldovan authorities to close the Russian House, which is located in Chisinau, is counterproductive and erroneous — it undermines the foundation of interstate relations. This was announced on November 5 by the press service of the Russian Embassy in the republic.

"We consider the Moldovan Side's decision to be erroneous and counterproductive. The unintelligible, contradictory arguments presented by official Chisinau have not the slightest basis," reads a statement posted on the Telegram channel of the diplomatic mission.
