On November 5, American leader Donald Trump instructed the Ministry of War to begin testing nuclear weapons "on equal terms" with Russia and China.

The US President also stressed that the American side has more nuclear weapons than any other state. According to the head of the White House, this was achieved during his first term as president.

"In connection with the tests in other countries, I have instructed the Ministry of War to begin testing our nuclear weapons on an equal basis," he said in a message on Truth Social.

Earlier on November 5, the United States conducted a test launch of an unloaded Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM). The test launch was carried out from the Vandenberg Space Force Base in California. It is noted that the unarmed returned part of the ICBM flew about 4.2 thousand miles to the Ronald Reagan test site.

Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov, at a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and members of the Russian Security Council, in turn, called it advisable to begin immediate preparations for Russia's full-scale nuclear tests.
