Changan renamed Lamore sedan in Russia

Changan has renamed the Lamore midsize sedan in Russia, which will be offered from 2023. The model was named UNI-L, drew the attention of "Drom" on November 5.

According to him, Changan UNI-L is already being delivered to official dealers of the brand, although cars with the old name are still represented in car dealerships. The name change is part of the policy to expand the line of the UNI sub-brand.

It is noted that from the beginning of the year to September inclusive, only 101 copies of Changan Lamore were sold in the Russian Federation, and all of them were produced in 2023 and 2024. Under the name UNI-L sedans are also offered only last year of production.

From the technical side, the model has not received any changes: a 1.5-liter turbo engine with a capacity of 181 hp and a 7-speed preselective "robot" with dual clutch are installed under the hood. The only complete set is called in the old way (Tech) and is estimated at the same 2.87 million rubles.

At the same time, according to Izvestia, on the official website uni-motors.ru the UNI-L model has indeed been added to the line, and on the website changanauto.ru The sedan is still called Lamore.
