The Geely Coolray crossover, which was updated in the Russian market in 2023, has disappeared from the list of brand models offered in the country. This was reported on November 5 by <url> Magazine.

The role of the "junior" crossover in the Geely line in the Russian Federation is now assigned to the Cityray model, which is one step below the Atlas. At the same time, Geely Coolray cars are still available at dealers, but they are all built in 2024, as are the Emgrand and Preface sedans.

The Geely press service explained that these models of the current year of production are missing, since a sufficient number of cars manufactured in 2024 were imported into the country to meet demand.

The first-generation Geely Coolray is still sold in Russia, but under the Belgee brand, as is the Emgrand sedan, and both are produced in Belarus. The original Emgrand was supplied to Russia from China: it is assumed that with the advent of the Belgee S50, this model will no longer be imported, as previously happened with the pre-styling Coolray and Atlas Pro, which also switched to the Belgee brand. As for the Preface sedan, it is shipped to Russia from China.

Earlier that day, it was reported that the Belarusian-made Belgee X70 crossover entered the top three most popular SUV segment models on the Russian car market for the first time. Over the past seven weeks, it has been constantly improving — the model has moved from seventh place to second.
