On November 7, at the site of the Moskino Film Factory, as part of the second international forum "Culture. Media. The figure " there will be an open discussion "is light. Camera. Question. Morandi interview". The guest will be Andrey Ropcea— the frontman of the iconic Romanian duo Morandi, the author of the hits Angels (Love Is the Answer), Save Me, Midnight Train and Colors, which were played on airwaves and clubs around the world. The interview will be conducted by Russian actress, TV presenter and beauty expert Aurora (Irina Yudina).

Speech at the forum "Culture. Media. Digit" will be Andrey Ropchi's first participation in a professional event of this scale — before that, the artist had appeared only at music festivals and concert venues. Now, for the first time, he will perform in an open dialogue format to talk about the artist's transformation into the digital age and the role of technology in music.

Morandi's music has become a symbol of a generation that grew up on the border of the analog and digital eras. Founded in Bucharest in 2004 by producer Marius Moga and performer Andrei Ropcea, the duo has rapidly gained international recognition. Their tracks occupied the first positions in the charts of more than 20 countries, and the song Angels (Love Is the Answer) brought the band three MTV Music Awards — "Best New Artist", "Best Song" and "Best Dance Track", as well as the MTV Europe Music Awards in the Best Romanian Act category. The N3XT album became one of the most successful records of the Romanian pop scene of the 2000s, cementing Morandi's status as one of the leading dance groups in Europe.

The session "Light. Camera. Question. The Morandi interview" will be included in the track #TECHNOMAGIA, which unites conversations about technology, media and creative industries. Today, when the media market is undergoing a digital transformation, the story of Morandi becomes especially relevant: the project that shaped the musical tastes of the generation of the early 2000s turned out to be in tune with a new reality — where living emotions and digital distribution are combined into a single system.

"Today, content travels faster than an artist. Algorithms know no boundaries, but that's why it's important to understand different cultural codes — what works in Bucharest may sound different in Moscow, Astana or Minsk. Sincerity is a universal language that does not require translation. The digital age gives an artist the opportunity to be both closer and further away from his audience.: You can reach millions, but you can only hold the attention if you stay real. We live in a time when it is important to be able to combine technology, emotion and meaning so that music does not lose its humanity," said Andrei Ropcea (Morandi).

Forum "Culture. Media. Digit" will be held on November 6-7, 2025 and will bring together more than 100 speakers from 20 countries around the world. This year, the key theme of the event is the development of the CIS media market and the creation of new cultural products at the intersection of industries.

Izvestia News Center is the general information partner of the event.
